Here’s what he told me to do and before I list the things he told me, I have to tell you it worked! I still do these things, and when I don’t my anxiety starts rising up again. So I keep doing these things and it works.

It (they) (the things the doctor told me to do) amount to a lifestyle change. Not drugs, but the very basics of the way I live. Natural anxiety cures.

Here’s the list. It may seem too simple to you at first, but give it a good try and see what happens for you! It’s good advice!

1. Get good sleep and plenty of it.

2. Get regular, light exercise. Walking is perfect.

3. Improve your diet. Eat better foods. Cut back on sugar.

4. Reduce your use of caffeine or stop completely. Caffeine’s effect can cause anxiety.

5. Moderate your use of alcohol or stop completely.

That’s it. If you do these five things, these five lifestyle enhancement practices, your anxiety will drop a lot, and maybe even to “normal” levels. (There will always be some anxiety).
